Julie Legg, ADHDifference

Julie Legg

Julie’s thirst for new experiences has led her through a vibrant career journey, including roles as a professional actor, voice-over artist, marketer, business owner, writer, and food photographer—now culminating as an author with HarperCollins (The Missing Piece, 2024). Diagnosed with ADHD at 52, she describes it as a life-changing moment, echoing the experience of many women diagnosed in adulthood.

Trading heels for gumboots and the office for the outdoors, Julie now blogs about homesteading at Rediscover while protecting her fruit trees from determined possums. Over the past few years, she has been ‘unpacking’ decades of life through the lens of her ADHD diagnosis—a revelation that has brought clarity and understanding to her journey.

Jel Legg, ADHDifference

Jel Legg

Jel’s career journey has been as diverse as it is fascinating, spanning roles as an electronics engineer, web developer, and musician. While not a household name, he’s more than made up for it by contributing to remarkable projects like space satellites, the Bugatti Veyron, and numerous websites for Decca, EMI, Universal, and Warner in London.

Diagnosed with ADHD at 55, Jel found it an unsurprising but deeply clarifying moment—suddenly, so much made sense. Now a music producer at Studio 109, he recently released Unmasked, the third album from his and Julie’s studio band, OLDER. The album delves into the pre- and post-diagnosis journey of ADHD, resonating with many adults navigating similar paths.
